FAQs

What is a Broaster?
"Broaster" refers to both the Broaster Company and its patented pressure frying equipment. A Broaster pressure fryer cooks food faster than a standard fryer while sealing in moisture, which is what gives Genuine Broaster Chicken® its signature texture and flavor. Broaster also licenses trademark food programs — like Broaster Express® — to operators who want a proven, branded menu item without franchise fees.

What's the difference between a Broaster pressure fryer and a Broaster ventless fryer?
A pressure fryer (like our 1600, 1800, 2400, or E-Series models) cooks food under sealed pressure for faster cook times and consistent results, and typically requires standard kitchen ventilation. A ventless fryer (our VF-2 and VF-3 models) uses a self-contained filtration system, so it can be installed in locations without a traditional exhaust hood — a common choice for convenience stores or smaller kitchens.

What Broaster equipment does RMD carry?
We stock the full Broaster equipment lineup, including pressure fryers (1600, 1800, 2400, E-Series 18G, E-Series 24), ventless fryers (VF-2, VF-3), the Smokaroma Pressure Smoker, and the Instant Burger. Browse the models above or contact our sales team to find the right fit for your kitchen.

Can I buy Broaster equipment for sale through RMD?
Yes — RMD sells new Broaster equipment across Colorado, New Mexico, and Southern Wyoming, and can help you select the right model based on your volume, space, and ventilation setup. Contact Sales or call 800-758-1038 for pricing.
