The Bluezone® Model 2400 is engineered to maintain cleaner refrigeration environments, eliminating harmful contaminants and extending the shelf life of fresh produce. Using ultraviolet-enhanced oxidation, it effectively removes ethylene gas, mold, bacteria, and odors, helping reduce food waste while preserving quality. Designed for walk-in refrigerators, the Model 2400 eliminates 99.9% of mold and bacteria, ensuring a safer and fresher storage environment.
This advanced system draws air into a sealed reaction chamber, where UV-enhanced oxidation breaks down airborne contaminants. Through this process, ethylene gas is safely converted into water (H₂O) and carbon dioxide (CO₂), preventing premature ripening and spoilage. With targeted oxidation and UV irradiation contained within the reaction chamber, Bluezone delivers reliable, continuous protection without releasing ozone into the surrounding environment. The Model 2400 is CARB-certified for ozone emissions, ensuring compliance with strict air quality standards.
